LagosLife Buzz covers an evolving game and the community around it. Our standard is simple: give readers a useful story, a traceable source and a clear account of what the evidence does—and does not—show.
What earns a story
We look for an interesting player experience, a meaningful game update or a question that needs explanation. Our contribution should be context, comparison or analysis. A copied post with a new headline is not enough. Titles should identify LagosLife and deliver the story promised without turning uncertainty into fact.
A source for the claim
- Official game pages support current rules, terms and features, with the checking date made clear where details can change.
- Creator announcements support what the creator said. User totals, revenue and other self-reported figures are identified as such.
- Independent reporting is attributed to its publisher. We separate the reporting date from the date an event or interview occurred.
- Public posts and comments are evidence of those particular experiences or opinions, not a representative survey.
- When we have only reviewed a video’s title or description, we do not describe that as watching or verifying its full contents.
We link to original material wherever practical and identify quotations, paraphrases and our own analysis. Missing evidence stays missing; we do not invent player demographics, game mechanics, financial figures or first-hand experiences.
Images and community material
Captions explain what an image shows and credit its source. Screenshots are selected for the story they help explain. We avoid unnecessary exposure of private information and provide a route for rights or privacy concerns. A publicly viewable post is not automatically free to republish, and attribution alone does not establish permission.
If an image or quotation cannot be responsibly supported, we can remove it or replace it with a source link. Original-source access can change, so an archived screenshot is presented as a record of a particular moment rather than a live view.
AI assistance and responsibility
We use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, editing and site production. AI-generated text is not a source. Published factual claims must be checked against the linked evidence, and readers can challenge them through the correction process. We do not present AI-generated material as a personal interview, direct gameplay test or professional qualification.
Commercial information
An article about advertising inside LagosLife is editorial coverage, not an offer to sell those placements. A brand’s appearance in a screenshot does not prove a commercial agreement. Where a story concerns an announced business relationship, we identify the supporting source and avoid guessing undisclosed terms.
If LagosLife Buzz publishes paid sponsorship or uses a link that can earn us a commission, that relationship must be disclosed with the affected content. Payments do not turn an unsupported claim into a fact. We are not currently serving Google AdSense ads.
Dates, updates and corrections
Articles identify their publication date. When a material fact changes or a mistake is confirmed, the relevant passage should be corrected with an update or correction note explaining a meaningful change. Small spelling or formatting fixes need not be presented as a new story. The corrections page explains how readers can report a problem.
