We earned our first LagosLife job payout by opening Phone → Jobs, applying for Tech and entering an Intern shift at CcHub. In this early-finish test on 7 October 2026, we left after about 15 minutes and received ₦2,550 in game currency. This was a partial shift, not the advertised ₦9,900 full-shift rate. [1] [2] [5]

1. Open LagosLife Phone → Jobs and apply

From Home, open Phone in the bottom navigation, then Jobs. We chose Tech. Its card listed Intern, ₦9,900 per shift, one-hour shifts and five days a week. We used an existing account with the owner’s permission; the wallet in these images is not a new player’s starting balance. [1]

The button said Apply — start tomorrow. After applying, the confirmation named Intern at CcHub and mentioned 9AM. The employed Jobs screen showed our current role and Go automatically checked.

2. Check whether your LagosLife shift has started

Our account entered a Danfo commute without a separate Go to work click. The route was Yaba → CcHub, Yaba, and the shift started at the displayed 2:43 PM, with Home at 3:43 PM. We did not need to locate the workplace manually. [2]

The listing’s any-time shifts, its start-tomorrow button and the confirmation’s 9AM text did not match this same-session start. Check your current work card and automatic-work setting instead of assuming all three labels describe the active shift. We observed this sequence once; manual departure was not tested.

3. Watch LagosLife pay and exit labels

At 2:45 PM, the work card said No pay yet · stay 5 min, and Leave now · no pay. By 2:57 PM, it showed ₦2,500 so far before tax; the exit button also offered ₦2,500 before tax. The selected mode was Do Your Work, performance was 56%, and the task counter remained 0/4. [3] [5]

At 2:57 PM, the work card showed ₦2,500 before tax and the wallet still held ₦1,097,850. Lagos Life / LagosLife Buzz capture ↗ · View full-size image ↗

Other modes included working harder, socialising, appealing to the boss and taking it easy. Their descriptions trade performance against needs or risk; we did not compare their earnings. The panel advertised a 15% bonus at four task wins, but our run had not earned it.

4. Finish and verify your LagosLife payout

We deliberately chose Leave now at about 2:58 PM to test an early finish. The Back from Work message confirmed ₦2,550 earned and performance +6, now 56%. After we pressed Nice one, the 2:59 PM wallet showed ₦1,100,400. [5]

The preview and final result differ by ₦50. We did not establish why or verify a tax calculation. The session’s earlier balance had also changed before this checkpoint, so we use the immediately preceding wallet amount rather than counting every change since login as wages.

Leaving early verified that this account received a partial payout; it does not establish that early exit is the most profitable choice. We did not complete the one-hour shift or isolate the displayed ₦150 Danfo fare in a transaction record.

Ten LagosLife starting-role listings we recorded

Only Tech was played in this test. These ten rows are the recruitment values captured on 7 October, not verified earnings for every career or a complete career count. Each displayed one-hour shifts with an any-time label. [1]

If you have a LagosLife job but are not at work

Open Jobs to confirm the current role and check Go automatically. The game’s Help & guide also points to Go to work at shift time. Look for an active commute or work card before trying another departure. If timing labels disagree, record the displayed time and message rather than assuming a fixed 9AM start. [4]

This walkthrough verifies one application, commute and early payout. Full-shift pay, promotions, tax rules and other careers remain outside this test. The practical checkpoint is the result message plus the matching wallet change, rather than the vacancy’s headline salary.
