First you find your feet in a virtual city. Then, apparently, you start thinking about a flight out. Lagos Life's expanding world has prompted a bigger idea than another place to visit inside Lagos: connected cities.

IsaKaba reported that developer Shalom Rayhamen was working on AbujaLife and PHLife, with an in-game airport intended to connect the worlds. The report also describes a longer-term ambition to let players visit cities outside Nigeria.

This is an announced direction, not our confirmation that every destination is playable. The report does not supply a release date, and we have not completed an in-game journey between cities.

Still, it is a tempting setup for player stories. Would you move with your friends, make a fresh start, or keep returning to the same favourite hangout? Those are possibilities we would like to see, rather than features we can promise.

The appeal of the idea is that a shared world can grow through the people moving around it. For now, the destination board belongs in the plans column. When the routes can be tested, the trip itself will be the story.
