DamDam wanted a LagosLife graduation party for a surprisingly personal reason: the player says real life had not given them the course they wanted or the celebration they imagined. By the evening of 3 November, the invitation had become a recap. The host thanked everyone who partied with them, then immediately turned to the less glamorous part of hosting: some guests had been unable to get inside. [1] [3]

A celebration with a real reason behind it

The 1 November invitation advertised Computer Science, a 5.00 CGPA and a grand virtual celebration. Those details belong to the player’s promotional artwork; they do not establish a real-world qualification. In the accompanying post, DamDam said they had studied something else outside the game. The appeal was the chance to give the avatar a milestone the person behind it had missed. [1]

The morning venue preview made the plan tangible: a furnished hall, red-and-gold rugs and a central arrangement the host hoped to turn into a game. DamDam planned one hour of celebration. The preview is still useful for seeing the preparation, but it is not footage of guests attending the finished event. [2]

The ending was happy, but the hosting was messy

At 21:20 UTC on 3 November, DamDam reported that convocation was done. The post thanked attendees and said the plan had not worked. It did not explain the failed activity in enough detail to reconstruct its rules or cause. The host also apologised to people who could not enter, saying they had not realised the house had limits. [3]

Then came a specific complaint: why did someone who had already registered for the event still need to be let through the door manually? It is an excellent little reversal. The player finally gets their dream graduation, and the evening also turns them into a door attendant. That interpretation follows the host’s complaint; we did not attend or count the guests ourselves. [3]

Twenty-three minutes later, the doorway got a response

At 21:43 UTC, developer Shalom Rayhamen posted an update thanking DamDam. Registered event guests could now walk in without the host manually admitting each person. That is 23 minutes after the recap, based on the original post timestamps. It is a published developer response, not an admission flow we have independently tested. [4]

There are two separate improvements to understand. An earlier announcement that evening introduced “Just Start It”, which begins a house party without requiring invitations first; inviting friends remains available. The later change concerns registered guests entering an event. Neither announcement says house capacity was increased or removed, so the crowd-limit problem should not be treated as solved by these posts. [4] [5]

This page now records a completed celebration as reported by its host, rather than advertising an upcoming party. The useful takeaway is wonderfully ordinary: a meaningful virtual milestone can come with a room full of friends, an activity that does not work out, and a very practical complaint that reaches the developer.
