Your LagosLife land can have a dramatic day even while your character stays home. In a 17 October post, creator Shalom Rayhamen said the Invest app now explains when economic news changes a plot’s value. The useful addition is an explanation for a movement—not a promise that land will rise. [1]

We opened Phone → Invest on 20 October. Our account showed no plots, trailers or businesses. The visible land menu listed Imota at ₦250,000, Ikorodu at ₦1.5 million and Epe at ₦2.5 million. Those were menu offers in this visit; we did not buy a plot, and no economic-news explanation appeared for our empty portfolio. [2]

For a plot you already own, look for that explanation in Invest and compare it with the value displayed for the same plot. Note the date and which property you are viewing. If you cannot find the message, record what your screen actually shows rather than borrowing a price from somebody else’s screenshot.

Our suggested reading order is simple: identify the plot, read the stated news, then look at your available balance separately. A displayed property value and money you can spend answer different questions. The announcement gives no sale-price formula, transaction fee or schedule for the next movement.

Our recent 36-plot player story is a useful companion: it concerns an account described as asset-rich but short of cash. It is a separate player report, not evidence that the Invest update caused that account’s problem.
