LagosLife can copy the feeling of daily life a little too well for a player expecting The Sims. In a 7 October Reddit reply, u/Thatskemzi says the game feels slow because its time follows Nigerian time, unlike the accelerated days they associate with The Sims 4. The commenter still calls it a nice game and looks forward to more updates. [1]

This is a preference about pace, not proof of a timer bug. Nor does the comment establish an exact conversion between real minutes and Sims time. The useful point is that a familiar comparison can create a very specific expectation: a player may want to move their character’s day along more quickly. [1]

A later reply, dated 10 October, raises a related but different problem. u/Lightskin_lion says they tried LagosLife, became bored after a while and wanted activities beyond continuous conversation. That is one player’s account, not a retention statistic. [2]

Read together, the two replies ask what should fill the time between social moments. A quieter pace may suit a person dropping in to chat; someone looking for a compact play session may want a clear activity to finish. That is our reading of this small exchange, not a claim about everyone playing. [1] [2]

These are early-October comments revisited on 19 October. They predate our later coverage, including our 16 October ZUKO test. They should not be read as a fresh review of the current build. [1] [2]
