A broken television or blocked toilet is an unglamorous reason to visit a LagosLife workplace. In the 10 October announcement, creator Shalom introduced HANDI HQ in Yaba: a place to pick up service work or book someone to fix a home problem. [1]

LagosLife HANDI HQ has two sides

For workers, the post lists makeup, nails, cleaning, carpentry, electrical work, cooking and tattoos. For residents, its examples are a broken TV and a blocked toilet. The announcement’s image shows the green HANDI building and a bridal-makeup gig. It does not establish what your account currently qualifies for or what a completed job pays. [1]

Start by deciding which question you are trying to answer: “Can I take this job?” or “Can someone repair this item?” Those are different actions. Read the current offer and confirmation screen before accepting either; the promotional poster is not your transaction record.

LagosLife broken furniture should not end the evening

A second creator post that night said a broken item should remain usable until a HANDI professional repairs it, with Bucket Bath still available. It also said decorators’ work would no longer reset when an owner travelled or refreshed the page. These are the team’s reported fixes, not outcomes we have retested. [2]

If your room behaves differently, record the item, what you pressed and what happened after reopening it. That gives the official report form a specific problem to investigate.
