Katherine Psych’s LagosLife challenge removes the easy social escape hatch: no begging, no gifts and no glitches. Her 7 October video starts from character creation; the chapter at 14:26 turns to a regular job. It is an earlier playthrough worth revisiting, not a new October 24 upload. [1]

The description sets the rules and the chapters identify those turns. We checked both on the original watch page. We have not independently verified the final balance or reproduced her result, so this is a recommendation for a challenge video, not a guaranteed way to get rich. [1]

Make the challenge measurable

If you want to try your own version, write down your opening cash, the time you start, any gift you receive and the costs you pay. Decide in advance whether purchases, loans and previously owned assets count. Without those rules, two players can use the same “no handouts” label for very different runs.

Then separate the wage from what is left afterwards. A completed shift can increase a balance while food, travel or a repayment changes the session’s overall result. Our first-shift guide provides a checklist for recording the actual completion screen. Our own dated food recording is a useful companion: it shows why the small purchases between activities belong in the story too.

The fun is the constraint. A player choosing the slow route gives viewers something to follow beyond a screenshot of a large balance: a plan, a setback and a decision about what to try next. Keep the result on screen when you share your attempt.
